SBH Law Office presented a textbook on International Commercial Arbitration.

On July 11, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a presentation of the first comprehensive tutorial on international commercial arbitration in the history of the Republic of Belarus, organized by SBH Law Office, the International Arbitration Court of the BelCCI (Belarussian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the law firm «Sorainen».

The presentation solemnly began with the welcoming words of the chairman of the IAC (International Arbitration Court) at the BelCCI Jan Funk, the partner of SBH Law Office, Timour Sysouev and partner of the law firm «Sorainen» Alexei Anishchenko. They discuss the following issues: the general importance of international commercial arbitration in the field of settling international disputes; the project under the patronage of which the book came out; their impressions when working with the benefit; the significance of this grant not only for students of law schools and specialties, but also for practicing lawyers, lawyers and arbitrators. At the end of the solemn part, the guests were handed the books.

Among the book authors are the partners of SBH Law Office Timour Sysouev and Alexandre Khrapoutski, the chairman of the IAC at the BelCCI Jan Funk, the partner of the law firm «Sorainen» Alexei Anishchenko, the partner of the law firm «Danilevich and Volozhinets» Alexander Danilevich and Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Process and Labor Law of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University Vladimir Skobelev.

This tutorial covers the main categories of international commercial arbitration: its forms, sources, principles, arbitration agreements, subjects of the arbitration process, arbitration costs, evidence, the structure of arbitration, arbitral award, appeal and execution of the latter. The book is devoted to questions of economic law and alternative dispute resolution.

The output of this book is the continuation of the TEMPUS project (Trans-European Mobility Program for University Studies) "Training in alternative dispute resolution as an approach to ensuring human rights". The TEMPUS program supported the modernization of higher education and created a space for cooperation in the countries surrounding the European Union for 25 years, and in 2014 grew into the program ERASMUS +, aimed at supporting activities in education, retraining, youth policy and sports in 2014-2020 years.

The presentation was accompanied by a buffet table at which colleagues from the legal community were able to share their professional experience in the field of international commercial arbitration.
