Members of the International Arbitration Court at the International Chamber of Commerce are appointed in their personal capacity for a period of three years by the World Council of ICC, which is the supreme governing body and is made up of the leaders of the world's largest companies. The ICC includes more than 6 million member organizations located in more than 100 countries. The court consists of more than 100 members from about 90 countries. Members of the court meet several times a year at sessions that usually take place at the headquarters in Paris. The court is assisted by the secretariat, whose staff works on an ongoing basis.
Since 2017, Alexander Khrapoutski is the first and only member of the International Arbitration Court from Belarus.
