On August 10, 2019, the head of the Ukrainian office of SBH Law Offices has changed

On August 10, 2019, the head of the Ukrainian office of SBH Law Offices changed. 

Zoya Krasyuk, who headed the office in 2017, left SBH. We sincerely thank Zoya for the energy, perseverance, skills, high professionalism and reliability that made it possible to successfully begin and complete many important and significant projects.

The new head and managing partner of our office in Ukraine is the lawyer Ksenia Prokonova.

Ksenia graduated from Odessa Law Institute of the National University of Internal Affairs with a criminal law specialty. Since 2011, she is a practicing lawyer and member of the Ukrainian Bar Association. In addition, Ksenia is a member of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Association of Investigative Judges of Ukraine.

Prior to joining SBH Law offices, Ksenia was a partner in conflict management practices at Juscutum Law Office.

Ksenia's specialization and professional experience covers dispute resolution, criminal law, the law of the sea, business protection, intellectual property, protection against extradition and migration law.

Recent projects implemented by Ksenia:

  • Representation of the interests of an energy holding in connection with a leading criminal investigation. As a result, all arrests were removed from the accounts and property of organizations, their normal economic activities were restored, criminal cases were terminated.
  • Representation of the interests of the largest retailer of Ukraine in connection with the seizure of property in a criminal case on the fact of non-payment of taxes. As a result, the property was returned in full, the criminal case was terminated.
  • Representing a client in a lawsuit against the largest market participant in the certification of electronic digital signatures regarding the recognition of information as invalid.
  • Representation of interests of a large pharmaceutical company in a lawsuit to recover a debt from the counterparty and the recognition of information about the client unreliable.
  • Representation of a client in a corporate dispute related to an attempt to raider takeover of a company by one of the co-founders.
  • Representation a client in a land dispute against the state regarding the return of a land plot. The court decision was made in favor of the client.
  • Protecting the interests of a major automaker in a cybersquatting conflict.
