All legal expectations have come true at the Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum EEDRF-2017, which brought together participants from law firms, associations and arbitration centers, the largest companies of Belarus and the academic community in Minsk.
On Friday, September 22, the main, business part of the Forum was held. The program of this day was highly topical and consisted of a plenary session and three sections: «Evidence in International Commercial Arbitration», «Evidence in State Judicial Proceedings», «East vs. West». Also on the eve of the Forum, two satellite events were held: the seminar «Innovations in the 2017 SCC Rules: costs and time-saving mechanisms» and the colloquium «Alternative to IBA Rules on the taking of evidence: benefit or time wasting?».

Addressing to the participants and guests of the Forum with a welcoming speech, he highlighted: «The problems, disputes, disagreements in all spheres were, are and will be. People dispute among themselves, business and entrepreneurship entities – among themselves. The global trend is to find the best ways to resolve these disputes. Belarus also follows this general trend».
